MINDCOPING — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the MINDCOPING mobile app (“MINDCOPING”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

MINDCOPING provides general mental-training and wellbeing content. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

6. Notifications

Training reminders are scheduled locally on your device. The content of your reminders is not sent to our servers.

8. Audio content

Guided audio is streamed and downloaded from our content host. To deliver the file, that host processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address). No check-in or progress data is shared for this purpose.

9. Who we share data with

We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

10. International transfers

11. How long we keep your data

12. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it: you can delete all of it at any time using “Reset app” in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@mindcoping.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. If you are in the EU/EEA, this is your local supervisory authority; the controller's lead authority is the Danish DPA (Datatilsynet).

13. Children

MINDCOPING is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Security

Your data stays on your own device, protected by your device’s security. Any data sent for analytics is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

15. Changes to this policy
